Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute’s resistant hypertension treatment program, employs the latest technology and treatments to help our patients control their blood pressure and reduce their risk for heart attack, stroke, heart failure, dementia and other conditions closely related to high blood pressure.

Hypertension is one of the most common health problems American adults face today; one in every two to three adults has high blood pressure, and approximately 50 percent of adults with hypertension don’t have their blood pressure under control. Since hypertension is a major risk factor for heart attack and stroke, we are passionate about helping our patients manage it.

Using a combination of medicines and lifestyle changes, our resistant hypertension treatment specialists work with you to lower your blood pressure, with the goal of getting your hypertension under control within three months.
